The sealing type of the auxiliary impeller is composed of pressure relief cover, auxiliary impeller, water seal ring, packing, packing gland, shaft sleeve assembly, etc., which is also a wearing part of the slurry pump. The material of the auxiliary impeller of the slurry pump is generally cast iron, and high chromium alloy and rubber can also be selected.
The auxiliary impeller is mainly used to seal the liquid containing impurities at low pressure, and the disadvantage is that the power consumption is large. The auxiliary impeller seal has two structural forms, that is, the auxiliary impeller seal of the metal decompression cover and the auxiliary impeller seal of the rubber decompression cover, and the former is generally more common.
Auxiliary vane shaft seal: When the positive pressure value at the pump inlet is not greater than 10% of the pump outlet pressure value, the single-stage pump or the first stage pump in series can use the auxiliary vane shaft seal. The auxiliary vane shaft seal has the advantages of not requiring shaft seal water, not diluting pulp, and good shaft seal effect.
