- Another advantage of PP FRP tanks is their versatility. These tanks can be custom-designed to fit specific requirements, including size, shape, and features such as fittings and accessories. This flexibility makes them suitable for a wide range of applications, from chemical processing plants to water treatment facilities.
- One of the key advantages of small fiberglass tanks is their non-porous nature, which inhibits bacterial growth and ensures the purity of stored liquids. This feature makes them ideal for storing potable water, chemicals, and even wastewater treatment systems. Additionally, their smooth inner surface minimizes sediment buildup, reducing the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance.
- In addition to their durability, fiberglass vessels are also flexible in design. Because fiberglass is a moldable material, boat manufacturers can create vessels in a wide variety of shapes and sizes to suit the needs of different boaters. From small fishing boats to large luxury yachts, fiberglass vessels can be customized to fit the preferences and requirements of their owners. This versatility makes fiberglass vessels a popular choice for recreational boaters, fishermen, and commercial operators alike.

Gratings & Covers
Pultruded fiberglass grating is made using premium grade isophthalic polyester, vinyl ester or phenolic resin systems with a synthetic surfacing veil, making it corrosion resistant, lightweight, and durable. Pultruded fiberglass has a grit surface for safety, and a greater strength to weight ration than molded fiberglass grating. A 35% / 65% resin to glass ratio provides greater strength and less corrosion resistance than molded fiberglass. This product is better suited for longer life spans. FIBERGLASS GRATING COVERS FOR FLUMES
National Grating Fiberglass Trench and Drain Grates are available in two standard resin systems. Each providing different levels of corrosion protection. Both resin systems meet Class 1 Flame Spread Rating per ASTM E-84 test standards.
Unlike competitions products that have a framework sitting on top of the flume, Openchannelflow's recessed grating option doesn't present a trip hazard.
Stock panels: 4’ x 8’, 4’ x 10’, or 4’ x 12’

Available in 1” deep, 1” x 4” pattern, rectangular mesh FRP gratings are commonly used for walkways and trench applications. When selecting rectangular mesh grating it is important to specify the span (rectangular opening) of the grating perpendicular to the supporting structure.
