Leather is probably the oldest of the lip materials still in common use, but the move towards mass production methods has seen a massive increase in the development of synthetic rubbers which lend themselves to accurate and repeatable injection and compression moulding. Nitrile (NBR) is still by far the most common elastomer for “normal” use, whilst Viton® (FKM/FPM) is rapidly replacing Polyacrylate (ACM) and Silicone (VMQ) for high-temperature applications. Viton® also has high resistance to abrasion and chemical attack making it a preferred elastomer. Recent developments in the use of PTFE for Rotary shaft seals has caused widespread interest particularly for high-speed shaft rotation or poor lubrication applications.
Spark plugs play a crucial role in the combustion process of an internal combustion engine. These small but powerful components are responsible for igniting the air-fuel mixture in the engine's cylinders, ultimately powering the vehicle.

Friction modifiers: Friction modifiers help reduce friction when your engine is operating under high temperatures and with heavy loads. This additive can also help you maximize your fuel efficiency.
How does my engine benefit from high mileage oil?
Remove the radiator (See How to remove a car radiator ) if necessary, to make room for removing the crankshaft pulley.

Typically used in hydraulic high-stress applications where compounds under high pressure are exposed to wear, the benefits of polyurethane seals include:
Waterproof rubber gaskets are designed to provide a secure and watertight seal, making them ideal for applications where protection against moisture and environmental elements is essential. These gaskets are commonly used in outdoor equipment, marine applications, and electrical enclosures to prevent water ingress and ensure the integrity of the sealed components. The waterproof properties of rubber gaskets contribute to the reliability and longevity of the sealed systems.
