Very prone to mechanical damage during fitting- The primary material, rubber, offers exceptional flexibility and resilience. It can conform to irregular surfaces, seal tightly, and maintain its seal even under varying temperatures and pressures. Rubber edge gaskets are designed with a specific type of rubber, each tailored to suit different environmental conditions and chemical resistances. For instance, silicone rubber gaskets are ideal for high-temperature applications, while neoprene gaskets excel in resisting oils and chemicals.

Types of oil seals include:
Helix Seal
Since oil seals are versatile and multipurpose, they are suitable for all types of mechanical engineering situations, e.g., manufacturing units, automobiles, pumps, etc.
The sealing process involves the interaction between the rotating shaft and the elastomeric material, resulting in a dynamic barrier that prevents fluid leakage and maintains system integrity.
The dimensions of the 25x47x7 oil seal refer to its inner diameter, outer diameter, and thickness, respectively. These measurements are important in ensuring a proper fit for the seal in the machine or engine it is intended for. By providing a secure seal between moving parts, the oil seal helps to maintain proper lubrication in the machine and prevent the loss of oil.
